Fans can now get a piece of trance music history for a good cause thanks to Amplifyd.
The auction house has launched a new charity auction featuring the sounds of several of trance music's most influential artists. The sale includes 52 lots of rare autographed 12″ vinyl, and each participating artist has pledged to donate the proceeds to organizations including the World Wildlife Fund, St. Jude's, CLAPA, and the Cancer Research Institute, among others.
The auction includes classics such as Tiësto's “Deadly Industry” and “Flight 643”; Imagine, Intense, Encompass and Mirage; “Fire” and “Sweet Sorrow” by Ferry Corsten; and “Starry Eyed Surprise” by Paul Oakenfold. Also on sale are records by Sasha, System F, Gouryella, Push and others.
“These iconic records hold a special place in the hearts of trance fans and the electronic music community at large,” Amplifyd CEO Dan Willis said in a press release shared with EDM.com“Organising this project has been a unique celebration of the historical significance of the songs responsible for countless unforgettable moments. I am delighted that all the artists have agreed to take part and have each supported the charity of their choice.”
