His historic 50th season Saturday Night Live started on September 28 and NBC has was announced the latest hosts and musical guests complete its lineup. On November 9, Mk.gee will do its thing SNL debut in an episode hosted by comedian Bill Burr. Next week, Charli XCX will be juggling host and musical guest duties on November 16. He last appeared on the show in 2022.
Earlier this year, Mike Gordon released his debut album as Mk.gee, Two Star & the Dream Police. The musician's blend of '80s pop, rock and R&B has slowly caught on ever since, earning seals of approval from the likes of Eric Clapton. His most recent single, 'Rockman', was released two weeks ago.
Earlier this month, Charli XCX released her new Brat aptly titled remix album Brat and it's totally different but still Brat. The star-studded project includes Lorde, Kesha, Caroline Polachek, Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande.
Season 50 of SNL opened with Jelly Roll and Jean Smart, followed by performances from Coldplay, Ariana Grande, Stevie Nicks and Billie Eilish. This coming Saturday, the show will bring back John Mulaney as host and Chappell Roan will SNL debut.
