Our Track by Track series features artists guiding readers through each song from their latest release. Today, Charly Bliss discusses his new album, Forever.
Most of Charly Bliss' The catalog could be described as “fun,” but it became the power-pop group's mission statement for their new album, Forever. Inspired by general themes such as romantic and platonic love, Forever offers 12 indie bops that are as danceable as they are genuine.
The record is energetic, upbeat, and catchy as hell, often backed by a pulsing synth line, energetic drums, and bright production. Its sonic palette is light and breezy, not unlike the feeling of settling into a new love. In fact, the exciting security of a new relationship can be felt throughout. Forever's reflective lyrics.

Consequence“I was so in love that everything seemed new, mysterious and sexy, and I was ready to dive in head first. Desiring someone is intoxicating and I couldn’t stop talking about it.”
Listening to it, that intoxication is contagious. Whether it's the nuanced nostalgia of “Back There Now” or the construction anthem “Nineteen,” Forever It almost forces you to smile. Listen to the full album below, and read on for Hendricks’ track-by-track breakdown.
