You know everything is going to be okay now Selena Gomez and by David Henrie Wizards of Waverly Place reboot is in production.

Gomez announced at the Disney Upfront on Tuesday (May 14) that the upcoming series will be titled Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, and also shared the series' first look images and logo. In the stills, the cast can be seen smiling on set. Gomez and Henry, who played magical brothers Alex and Justin Russo in the original Wizards, will reprise their roles and serve as executive producers on the reboot. Along with Gomez and Henry, former head of Disney Branded Television Gary Marsh and director Andy Fickman are producing, as are pilot writers Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas.

Henrie's character will lead most of the series as a dad to sons Milo, played by Max Matenko, and Roman, played by Alkaio Thiele. Over a decade after the original Wizards In 2012, Justin Russo is also married. his wife, Giada, will be played by Mimis Gianopoulos. The series lead, Billie, will be played by Janice LeAnn Brown.

According to the series description, Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, follows “a grown-up Justin Russo, who has chosen to live a normal, mortal life with his family, Giada, Roman and Milo. When Justin's sister Alex brings Billy to his house for help, Justin realizes he must dust off his magical skills to guide the wizard in training while juggling his day-to-day responsibilities – and protecting the future of the Wizarding World.

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place is scheduled to premiere on Disney Channel and Disney+ later this year. See the first photo below.
