Chlöe Bailey has been teasing the girls this summer with her new single 'Boy Bye', which she officially announced on Monday (April 8).
She also revealed the cover art for “Boy Bye,” which arrives this Friday via Parkwood and Columbia Records, and features the Grammy-nominated singer throwing her arms in the air while riding in the back of a red convertible (appropriately license plate 'BOY BYE'), evoking the carefree summer vibes that everyone is up for.
“Boy Bye” is Chlöe's second single from her 2023 debut album In pieceswhich featured collaborations with Chris Brown (“How Does It Feel)”, Missy Elliott (“Told Ya”) and Future (“Cheatback”) and reached No. 17 on the Top R&B Albums and No. 119 on the Billboard 200. She dropped her latest single “FYS” on March 1, marking her first music release in 2024.
Chlöe previewed “Boy Bye” earlier this month on socials with a 23-second video of her singing along to the song and playfully stroking her hair. “Boy bye, bye! Not even to cry, silly child! Boy bye, bye! I won't even cry, go cry to your mom!” she blows
And if the lyrics haven't made it clear, Chlöe is “in my dgaf era”. He recently joined Offset on his tour stop in LA to perform their collaboration “Princess Cut” from his album 2023 Closed.
