'A Storm is coming' this summer: Chlöe revealed on Monday (August 5) that her second studio album, trouble in paradise will be released on Friday, August 9 via Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records.
The 26-year-old singer-songwriter-producer-actress shared the news along with a photo of herself wading through midnight blue waters wearing a neon green dress on her socials. He captioned the announcement before saving: “Storm coming.”
“Oh snap!!!!!” Tinashe commented on Chlöe's Trouble in paradise announcement on Instagram.
“It's the feel and taste of summer,” Chlöe said Advertising sign on the red carpet at the BET Awards 2024. He also revealed the inspiration behind the LP's production: “I'm obsessed with the Caribbean, so it's definitely island vibes inspired by Afrobeats. That's what I'm inspired by, so you'll definitely hear some little nuances of it in there.”
Chlöe released two singles, “FYS” and “Boy Bye,” earlier this year, and dropped remixes of Nigerian singer-songwriter Qing Madi's “Vision” and Rhythmic's Airplay No. 1 hit “Nasty.” 7 by Tinashe.

Trouble in paradise arrives more than a year after her solo debut studio album, In pieces. The 14-track LP features collaborations with Chris Brown (“How Does It Feel”), Missy Elliott (“Told Ya”) and Future (“Cheatback”). The set peaked at No. 119 on the Billboard 200 and No. 17 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
