Chris De Burgh has announced details of his ‘5OLO – ‘The 50th Anniversary Tour’ for 2025.
The ‘Lady in Red’ hitmaker – who has sold more than 45 million albums worldwide – will mark five decades in the music business with several shows, kicking off at Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall on February 21, 2025, before heading to Harrogate, Basingstoke, Bournemouth, and onto the legendary London Cadogan Hall for two nights, and concluding at Birmingham, Symphony Hall on March 3.
Fans can expect to experience the “breadth and depth of his musical legacy”, with hits including ‘The Lady In Red’, ‘Don’t Pay the Ferryman’, ‘High On Emotion’ and more.
The 75-year-old singer-songwriter is also set to debut some songs from his upcoming collection, ’50’.
Chris said: “The tour will be about referring back to when I started out, as a single guy with a guitar and piano.
So, it will be me performing and talking about music, talking about the origins of the songs and their backgrounds.
“Without the love and support of my audiences, I would never had such a long career.”
Tickets go on sale 9am on Friday (22.03.24) via www.ticketline.co.uk and the direct from venues.
