A picture is worth a thousand words, and this is what newlyweds Christian Nodal and Ángela Aguilar proved in a shared post on social media Thursday July 25 with two photos from their wedding.
Captioning simply “24.7.24,” the date of their intimate wedding ceremony held in Cuernavaca, Mexico, Nodal and Aguilar shared with their millions of Instagram followers two photos capturing the special moment. In the first photo, the couple shares a sweet kiss and in the second they show off their wedded bliss.
Held at a 16th-century Mexican colonial hacienda in Amacuzac, Morelos (90 minutes from Mexico City) on Wednesday, the private ceremony was attended by Nodal and Aguilar's respective parents. Before the couple shared their joint post on social media, Angela's dad, Pepe Aguilar, was the first to make an official statement, giving his blessing to their union.
“Always remember that what is truly worth it is never easy. But if there is true love, TRUE LOVE IN CAPITAL LETTERS! Then EVERYTHING is worth it. And everything will always make sense. I wish from the bottom of my heart that your love will be one of them.” He continued, “One of the ones that are worth it, one of the things that make sense. Here's to your happiness… and always take great care of your love with what I mentioned first. Responsibility and respect. Many, many congratulations.”
Photos of the wedding began circulating last night, with Aguilar wearing a long, embroidered dress and Nodal in an off-white suit. The young couple (Nodal is 25 and Aguilar 20) tied the knot two months after announcing they were together.
“It's not a new relationship. it's the continuation of a story that life made us stop to grow and miss each other. Because when we left it, we came back even closer,” Aguilar said HELLO! in June, a month after Nodal and Cazzu – his ex-partner and mother of his 10-month-old daughter – publicly announced their split, saying they still have a respectful and friendly relationship.
