Christina Applegate shares her bucket list.
The actress, who revealed her multiple sclerosis diagnosis in 2021, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share some of her current life goals. “There are things I want to do with the days I have left,” he wrote. “I want to work with Shirley MacLaine. And shoot with Cher!”
However, Applegate assured that she has a lot of life to live. “And yes, my days are that long,” he added. “I am just saying.”
Applegate has been open about her battles with multiple sclerosis over the years, particularly how it affects her mentally. In the June 4 episode of her podcast, “MeSsy,” which she co-hosts with fellow MS survivor Jamie-Lynn Sigler, that she's “in a depression right now that I don't think I've felt in years.”
He added, “Like a nutcase, I say it all, like real depression, where it kind of scares me because I feel really fatalistic. I'm trapped in this darkness right now that I haven't felt in – I don't even know how long, probably 20 years. … I don't like to live. I don't enjoy things anymore.”
According to the World Health Organization, multiple sclerosis is a condition in which the immune system attacks the brain and spinal cord. Symptoms include “vision problems, fatigue, difficulty walking and maintaining balance, and numbness or weakness in the arms and legs.” Although there is no cure for the condition, treatment can reduce symptoms and prevent future recurrences.
