IS U IS U marks the latest artistic venture from Kito and Chrome Sparks, a DJ superduo that draws on each artist's unique experience to deliver melodic anthems on the dance floor. Available now through Mad Decent, founder finds IS U IS U expertly fusing their respective sounds for a heady record that is as irresistible as it is eclectic.
Chrome Sparks' masterful melodies and impressive synth work are present throughout the short but sweet EP, while Kito's tasteful production and pop approach perfectly add to the EP's commercial appeal.
“All I Need” begins the journey, driven by an infectious vocal sample reminiscent of the duo's name, while organic dance instrumentation and a warm atmosphere immerse us in the vibrant world of IS U IS U. Inspired by house music Classic with its punchy piano chords and groovy basslines, “Lights On” is another highlight as “Angel Girl” continues to showcase her knack for infectious vocals and soulful melodies.
