El Duende by Claudio Simonetti will perform the group's score before that of George A. Romero Dawn of the Dead during three special shows in the US later this month.
These concerts, which will take place in Los Angeles, Austin and New York City in late May, are billed as the “last” live performances of the score. A press release highlights that no more dates will be added. Tickets are available for purchase. here.
Along with a performance by Dawn of the Dead score, each show will also see Claudio Simonetti's Goblin play a “best of” set drawn from the group's other scores, including dark red color, sighand Tenebrae.
The screenings coincide with the 45th anniversary of Romero's zombie classic and the film's return to theaters and drive-ins across North America.
