Coheed and Cambria are hitting the high seas once again in 2025, as the band has announced the return of their S.S. Neverender festival cruise.
The five-day journey is dubbed “Good Apollo, We’re Boating to Cozumel: MMXXV,” celebrating the 20th anniversary of Coheed’s seminal album, Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Volume One. It sets sail from Miami on November 8th aboard the Norwegian Jewel, visiting Cozumel, Mexico, and returning to port on the 13th.
Once again the S.S. Neverender features a musical lineup headlined by Coheed and Cambria, plus notable bands such as Thursday and L.S. Dunes (the supergroup featuring members of both Coheed and Thursday). Other acts on the bill include The Dear Hunter, Hail the Sun, Illuminati Hotties, Meet Me @ The Altar, The Fall of Troy, Puddles Pity Party, Pool Kids, Zulu, Kaonashi, The Callous Daoboys, and Codeseven. More acts are to be announced.
In addition to live music, the cruise promises “immersive experiences” for Coheed fans inspired by “The Amory Wars” graphic novels, including cosplay, games, and more.
Pre-sale registration is open until October 23rd at midnight ET at via the S.S. Neverender website. All cabins booked during the pre-sale will receive an onboard photo with Coheed and Cambria during the cruise.
Meanwhile, the band recently teased its next full-length album with the ripping single “Blind Side Sonny,” which notched a spot on our Heavy Song of the Week rundown. The track introduces the titular Sonny, a new villain in the band’s “The Amory Wars/Vaxis” universe.
