The “Chi-City” rapper took the stage with Grammy Award-winning Gospel singer Jonathan McReynolds to perform “Lucky.” The song appears The Auditorium Vol. 1Common's recently released critically acclaimed album with producer Pete Rock.
Also scheduled to perform is iconic soul singer Patti LaBelle.
Keynote speakers for the evening are scheduled to include members of the royal family and former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.
And in another example of Hip-Hop's presence at the DNC, DJ Cassidy brought the Pass The Mic theme by providing the music for the roll call. It's safe to say that a DNC roll call has never been so much fun.
