Rapper turned podcaster Joe Budden is here throwing conspiracy theories about the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion at his listeners.
While Megan Thee Stallion is out here trying to help get Kamala Harris elected, Joe Budden is running his hands over the Tory Lanez shootings.
In a recent episode of his self-titled podcast, the “Pump It Up” creator made wildly unsubstantiated claims about Megan Thee Stallion, accusing her of framing the man who shot her, Tory Lanez.
Budden showed the incarcerated musician explaining why he's skeptical of the story that Lanez shot Stallion in the legs during the July 2020 incident that also involved Meghan's former best friend, Kelsey Harris.
Baden went so far as to blame Harris, saying she was the shooter, not Lanez.
Per HipHopDX:
“Everyone involved has a reason to lie, so I'm not really going to go with who do I trust more? I just go with… n-gga thoughts,” he said.
“What is more likely? Tori leaves the studio, goes to Kylie Jenner's house, freaks out, thinking she's going to pull the trigger. Meg is jealous — we know how they got into the car. What is more likely? Was this Tori so angry in that car that he took Kelsey's gun and shot her?'
“Listen, we know whose gun it was,” he continued. “So she took her gun and fired [Megan]. Why; Why was he so mad? […] Do you think a guy shoots a girl for no reason? Give me a reason! Because the only reason we got was, “I [Megan] he said I have more numbers than him.”
“Or what is more believable? Two people who were running as best friends, new to the music industry, one gets COVID, comes back, finds out her best friend is fucking the n-gga who's fucking her. And this n-gga was about to get some Kylie Jenner ass […] Does this guy shoot? No, this guy wants to come back!”
Joe Budden cites powerful people over Megan Thee Stallion influencing the situation
It wasn't over. He made Lanez's loyal fans' ears perk up when he expressed that more powerful people are playing and that Megan Thee Stallon is just a “pawn.”
The “umbrellas” and Lanez's father believed that Thee Stallion's management, Roc Nation, definitely influenced the court's decision.
“I think he's over her. I don't think he made it up. He's just a pawn in that,” Budden said. This project is bigger than her. He didn't make anything. I won't say who I think made it…but it wasn't her. N-ggas out there know who he is. I know exactly who it is, I know how that gun got there, I know whose it was.”
The former Slaughter House member also shared a private conversation with Kelsey Harris in his DMs.
“I thought it was weird that the last time we talked about this shit, Kelsey jumped into my DMs saying, 'Yeah, don't talk about it anymore.' Why; You have immunity. It's weird,” Budden said.
Harris quickly responded to X, formerly of Twitter, essentially recusing herself from his comments while promising to provide more information and telling her followers to “stay tuned.”
