Iconic rock band Crowded House have announced an exclusive album release show at London's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire on June 13, 2024. Following the news of their upcoming album, gravity stairs will be released globally on May 31 on BMG. The show will give fans the exclusive opportunity to hear the album live in its entirety for the first time. Tickets for the show will go on general sale on Friday, February 23 at 9:00 a.m. via LiveNation.co.uk.
The show and album announcement comes after the band's recent release of surprise new single “Oh Hi,” which debuted last week as the lead single from their upcoming eighth studio album.
The song has a deep connection to Finn's support of So They Can, an international nonprofit organization focused on building schools in remote areas of Kenya and Tanzania. “I hope the song is heard without needing to know the backstory,” Finn says, “but it's very inspired by these amazing kids and their magnificence.”
