Cyndi Lauper recently announced plans for her “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour,” which will begin this fall. During an appearance in Jimmy Kimmel live On Wednesday night, the 70-year-old pop icon was asked why he felt the time was right to embark on one last outing.
“I'm strong now, but I don't know what I'll be like in four years,” Lauper acknowledged, before getting up and imitating herself using a walker. “For me, I wanted to have the opportunity to do this when I feel strong. I want to celebrate with people. Really celebrate with people and make it fun.”
