Danny Lux is ready for its evolution.
On Friday, the Mexican-American singer sierreño shared a glimpse of his sonic experimentation with “Ciudad del Sol,” the second single off. evoLUXion.
“This is one of my favorite songs to date,” he said in a release. “It's super romantic and the beat is so fun, a great look at what's to come in music.”
The song begins with a sunny, folk intro, before the sound of charchetas and requinto enter. The video follows Danny spending quality time with his teammates Eddyjaee and Victor Ramos.
“We had a lot of fun making this video,” Danny added. “It's just me and the guys hanging out and it was important to include them because we all wrote this song together.”
The new track follows his collaboration with Leon Leiden, “Awitado :(” and solo single “Un Día Entenderás.” The latter track and “Ciudad del Sol” are set to be released on evoLUXiona deluxe edition of his LP DLUXwhich was released last year, with songs like “Dime Que Hay Que Hacer” with Gabito Ballesteros and “Me Cambiaste” with Eslabón Aramdo.

DannyLux toured the US last year and is set to return to Mexico for his Lux tour with more shows to be announced soon. (She also joined Becky G for her Tiny Desk debut last year.)
