Dasha brought her viral hit “Austin” to the 2024 CMT Music Awards on Sunday night (April 7) — and admitted it was her first time in the song's namesake city.
The singer/songwriter gave the song its live TV debut at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, wearing a double denim in a zip-up denim vest and daisies with a dainty belt featuring a rhinestone D-buckle belt. She was backed by dancers wearing white shirts and camo pants or jeans, and since one of the biggest drivers of the song was the perfect dance beat, it was only fitting that Dasha and her dancers broke into a mid-song dance to pay off. tribute to the song's sudden success.
“Thanks to CMT for believing in me!” he said to finish the show. “It's my first time in Austin!”

On Hot Country Songs, the song reaches No. 11 on the chart this week — and also becomes her first Country Airplay hit, debuting at No. 54.
