Dave Grohl is taking a few days off between dates on Foo Fighters’ “Everything or Nothing At All Tour” and engaging in a very important exercise: finally embracing Brat Summer glory and doing the “Apple” dance with his daughter, Harper.
During Foo Fighters concerts, he stands for three hours, so it's no surprise that he's sitting at the kitchen table during the dance. Harper stands behind him and pretty much dominates the routine. Dave, on the other hand, gets the moves right, even if his timing is a little off; still, by the time they get to the end of the 15-second dance, he goes completely silly, making faces at the camera as he dances. In case you're not up on the current “Apple” phenomenon, the song made it onto Charli XCX's (excellent) new album. Golf clubwhich came out in June. The dance is credited to TikTok creator Kelley Hayer and has since been replicated by literally thousands. Dave Grohl now joins the long list of celebrities who have done the routine, including Kim GordonJoe Jonas, Stephen Colbert, Tornadoes It stars Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Anthony Ramos, and Charli XCX herself.
Dave Grohl resumes his duties with Foo Fighters this weekend with a show in Denver.
