Following the release of his debut album, 'The Longest Day in History' in 2016, David C Clements established himself as one of Northern Ireland's most distinctive voices. In 2022, he took over as lead singer for Two Door Cinema Club at their South American festival.
He was invited to Washington DC in 2023 to perform at the capital's St. Patrick's Day Gala Concert, alongside James Vincent McMorrow, SOAK and Tolü Makay.
David C Clements performs in places as epic and ethereal as his musical offerings. Within the circular walls of Mussenden Temple, located on the edge of a cliff with the Atlantic Ocean below. At Belfast Central Church, their sold-out Christmas show has become an annual tradition; pews full of listeners who revere Clements' voice. If he sings it, they will come.
In the eight years since the release of his debut album, Clements has toiled through the long winters of creativity and now delivers 'The Garden', an 11-track alt-folk record featuring songs written with Iain Archer and Jacknife Lee . Clements, due for release in September, will take to the Ulster Hall stage on October 6 with his full band for an album release show.
