A former Syracuse athlete tied with Didi's The alleged drug racketeer will have to clear his name in court. Brendan Paul has pleaded not guilty to possession.

According to NBC Miami, His attorney, Brian Bieber, entered the plea on his behalf in a Miami-Dade County courtroom on Wednesday, April 24. Brendan Paul was also charged with possession of a controlled substance, but was ultimately dismissed.
The shooting guard turned music producer was arrested on March 25 in connection with the ongoing investigation into Diddy. Officers claim they found cocaine and marijuana candy on his person. “The defendant had the contraband in his travel bags, which he claimed before he was searched,” the affidavit states. Authorities allege that Paul served as the tycoon's mule to transport drugs and weapons. Before pursuing music, the 25-year-old played two seasons on the Syracuse University basketball team. He played in 16 games but didn't put up any big numbers averaging 0.2 points per game.
Didi faces some very serious charges, including sex trafficking and sexual assault. In February, producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones filed a lawsuit against him alleging that he assaulted, drugged and forced him to engage in sexual activities with sex workers. The Bad Boy Entertainment founder claims he is innocent of all charges.
