Sean “Diddy” Combs is set to go on trial but will remain in jail for months. The disgraced music mogul's trial date is set to begin in May 2025.
Per various reportsJudge Arun Subramanian set a trial date of May 5, 2025 at a hearing on Thursday, October 10. Diddy's legal team had reportedly requested that the trial be held in April or May.
However, while the defense got a date they wanted, Diddy was once again denied bail, his third attempt to be released before trial.

Diddy was arrested in New York on September 16 and booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn on charges including extortion and sex trafficking.
The 'Been Around The World' rapper has pleaded not guilty in the court of public opinion since his ex-girlfriend and ex-Bad Boy artist Cassie sued him in late 2023. This lawsuit basically set everything in motion, with Soon after his settlement, multiple lawsuits were filed alleging similar accounts of sexual abuse, a video surfaced of Diddy hitting Cassie (which corroborated an account described in her lawsuit), and in September, Diddy's indictment.
Combs' mother, Janice Combs, who recently described her son's prosecution as a lynching, was in attendance along with several of his children.
