Disney's collection of all-star rock covers A completely new sound debut at No. 1 on Bulletin boardTables for children's albums and collection albums (date September 21). The 12-track set boasts rock acts like Yellowcard (featuring Chrissy Costanza), New Found Glory, Simple Plan and Mayday Parade covering Disney classics like “A Whole New World” (from Aladdin), “Part of Your World” (from The Little Mermaid), “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” (by The Lion King) and “Remember Me” (by Cocoa).
In July, Simple Plan said in a statement: “We grew up watching Disney movies with our families and now we get to enjoy them with our kids, so it's pretty amazing that we were invited to be a part of this album.”
A completely new sound was released on September 6 as a digital download for purchase (aside from being available through streamers). A vinyl release for the project is due out on October 4th.
