DJ Khaled is probably the biggest sneaker head in the music game besides Fat Joe, but the man took his love of shoes to another level last weekend when he showed just how much he loves the J Balvin Air Jordan exclusive black editions. 3 “Sunsets of Medellin”.
In an Instagram post he shared on Sunday (February 25), DJ Khaled showed just how much his sneakers mean when his security team put him out of his limo and into the back of a truck to avoid getting sand in his rare Airs . “I don't want to get my Jordans dirty,” Khaled said. “Can I ask everyone to help me?” His team air elevated the Hip-Hop heavyweight to “security” to ensure his Jordans stayed clean. Fortunately for the two men taking him from point A to point B, the truck was only a few meters away. But you could tell it was still a low-key fight to help Khaled keep his legs fresh, if only for a few seconds.
As sneakerheads, we understand. As humans, we have to wonder if these men are paid enough to cover medical expenses for possible back injuries or something (no shots fired).
Although DJ Khaled is one of the few celebrities to own a pair of black J Balvin Air Jordan 3s, the sneakers are supposed to release sometime in 2024, so get ready to hold the “L” because they're going to fly off the shelves when they drop . .
