Just in time for festival season, DJ Snake has tapped Crankdat for an unexpected collaboration, “Big Bang.”
While the French superstar doesn't typically enter the world of dubstep, he teamed up with Crankdat, a rising superstar in the world of bass, to delve into the heavier side of electronica.
Like any good festival anthem, the track begins with a dramatic intro filled with synths, sirens and epic strings. After warming up, the duo unleash explosive bass with screeching leads and spring-loaded drums. They then dive headfirst into a hard-hitting electro house sequence to get future crowds into the groove before returning to a mid-tempo arrangement and opening the bass floodgates once again.
“Big Bang” arrives just days before Snake's performance on Coachella's Sahara stage. He is also recording a new album, revealed last year. Crankdat, on the other hand, will head to California in June for their “Absolute Annihilation” tour in association with Insomniac.
