80,000 people will be in attendance for what could ultimately be DJ Snake’s last performance.
Snake recently announced a massive concert at Paris’ Stade de France, France’s national stadium, where he will headline on May 10, 2025. Tickets for the show sold out in three minutes, he revealed today.
But the event’s prodigious scope is not the root of its fanfare. That would be his performance as “The Final Show,” which has led many to believe that the French electronic music superstar will hang up his headphones in 2025. Snake, however, has remained cryptic since announcing the concert two weeks ago .
It remains to be seen what the immediate future holds for Snake, but if you’re one of the 80,000 who bought a ticket to his event at the Stade de France, chances are you’ll be witnessing EDM history. The concert’s crowd size would double that of its 2020 headline show at the Paris La Défense Arena, which broke the record for the largest single-day electronic music event in European history.
Fans reeling from the thought of Snake’s retirement may find solace in at least one more album, which he announced he was recording in March. He has yet to reveal a title or release date as of this writing.
