After racking up over 46 million views prior to its release, Dom Dolla dropped “girl$” just in time for summer.
Out now via Three Six Zero Recordings, “girl$” is a seductive and confident tech house track reminiscent of Dolla’s energetic and signature style. The track combines a bass line with Caitlin Stubbs' vocals and vocal snippets from the Australian house music superstar herself.
Dolla says “girl$” was inspired by a conversation with friends, who grew tired of the current dating landscape and finally decided to give up.
“In the 24th we have many options,” he said in a press release. “No one is limited by who they want to love or who they want to spend time with…whether it's a guy, a girl, or even just enjoying their own company.”
The long-awaited single arrives just ahead of a massive series of sample for Dolla, who will soon DJ at Electric Forest, Ushuaïa Ibiza, Austin City Limits and the momentous Tomorrowland 20th anniversary festival, among others.
