Dr. Dre has revealed that Eminem will return with a new album in 2024. While appearing on Jimmy Kimmel live! On Tuesday (March 19), Dre said Em gave his blessing to announce the big news.
“Eminem is working on his own album, which is coming out this year,” Dre said. “I actually talked to him and he said it was okay for me to make that announcement right here on this show. So he has an album coming out, I have songs on it and it's great.”
He continued: “In fact, tomorrow I will listen to the whole album for the first time. He keeps his music close to his chest, so I haven't heard it all. “I haven't even listened to everything he's done, but I'm going to listen to him and he's releasing an album this year.”
After Kimmel noted that Dre is very hands-on with any music he produces, Dre admitted, “There are things I have to mix that I've already done, but I get to listen to the album in its entirety.”

Eminem's last album. Music to be murderedwas a surprise release in January 2020. It was followed by a deluxe edition that was released in December.
During the reunion, Dre was joined by frequent collaborators Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent for his first late-night television appearance in more than 30 years. He was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame that same day; Eminem was present but left early Kimmel.
Elsewhere in the conversation, Dre and Snoop talked about working on their seminal album. The chronicand your next doggy style continuation, Missionarythe latter of which Snoop said Dre will begin mixing in April.
