Drake and J. Cole are pushing back the start date of their arena tour by several weeks.
The rap couple was originally set to kick off their tour with two shows in Denver this weekend, but will now kick off the It's All a Blur — Big As the What? tour” at their already scheduled appearance in Tampa, Florida on February 2nd.
“This event has been rescheduled for April 15, 2024,” read a message from Ticketmaster to fans trying to access tickets for the original first show. “Please hold onto your tickets as they will be valid for the new date. You can track your tickets by logging into your online account.”
Shows in San Antonio, Oklahoma City and New Orleans were also rescheduled, as was a solo stop by Drake in Memphis. The rappers also added new shows, and Drake will perform several solo shows in Pennsylvania, New York and Alabama.
Reps for LiveNation, Drake and J. Cole did not immediately respond Rolling rockhis request for comment.
The dates mark an extension of the 50-date It's All a Blur tour that wrapped up this summer with 21 Savage. During the Montreal stop in July, J. Cole joined Drake on stage in place of 21 Savage. And before the concert series began, Drake was a special guest at the 2023 iteration of J. Cole's Dreamville festival in April.
Following the release of Drake's eighth studio album, For all dogs, the rapper pair debuted at Number One on the Billboard Hot 100 with their collaboration “First Person Shooter.” The record, which has lyrics referencing the tour's new name, marked J. Cole's first Number One and Drake's 13th, tying Michael Jackson's Hot 100 record.
