The Canadian rapper helped 21 close the show with performances of “Knife Talk” and “Rich Flex”
It’s the It’s All a Blur tour all over again! On Monday night, 21 Savage brought out Drake to perform with him during a stop in Toronto for his American Dream Tour.
The Her Loss duo performed “Knife Talk” from Certified Lover Boy and later performed “Rich Flex,” the Tay Keith-produced standout from their collaborative LP.
“One last time please, everybody in this city that we love so much, please make some noise for my motherfuckin’ brother 21 coming out here killing this shit,” Drake said onstage. “You know I love y’all. I’ll see you soon. Give ’em one more. You home, right? It’s your city.”
After releasing Her Loss, Drake and 21 Savage went on a co-headlining tour throughout 2023, bringing along Sexyy Red, Zack Bia, and Central Cee as openers.
21 Savage announced the dates for his American Dream tour in late February. He’s set to visit Virginia Beach, Hartford, Tampa, and Atlanta on his upcoming stops. He’ll also perform in New York for the Governors Ball. 21 Savage is joined on the road by special guests J.I.D, Nardo Wick, and 21 Lil Harold.
The rap star released his third album, American Dream, in January, marking his first solo record in six years. 21 Savage was in the thick of creating American Dream when he gave Rolling Stone a glimpse into his world for the January 2024 cover story. At the time, he hadn’t received any mixes back. “He damn near don’t even like the fact that we be listening to it,” his manager Meezy said about the record. “That’s why he said it is not mixed. It might sound small, but it’s a really big deal for him.”
