Dream Theater have announced a 2024-2025 40th anniversary tour, kicking off with a UK and European leg this autumn.
The outing, billed as “An Evening with Dream Theater,” will mark the first time in 14 years since the progressive metal legends toured with original drummer Mike Portnoy, who returned to the band in October.
The dates begin on October 20 in London and run until November 24 in Amsterdam, visiting cities in numerous European countries along the way. The tickets are available here.

Dream Theater commented in a press release: “This tour will be incredibly special for all of us! Each show is sure to be filled with anticipation and a variety of emotions. We can't wait to take the stage together once again and begin this historic 40-year celebration with everyone this fall. “This is just the beginning and we will have much more exciting Dream Theater news to share in the coming months.”
Dream Theater also recently revealed that they hit the studio to begin work on their sixteenth studio album and first new material since Portnoy's return. “DT16 is officially underway!” commented the band on social networks.
