New York soul singer Dundita has shared her first new song in two years. “Planetary” is accompanied by a directed music video Sandy Ishmael. In it, Dundita can be seen painting a colorful butterfly and then walking towards the ocean waves. Check it out below.
“Planetary” was recorded at Baketown, an experimental recording studio and art space in Berlin's Schöneberg. It follows a handful of independent singles from dundita over the years, including 2022's “Feel” featuring Joy Guidry and 2021's “Open Eyes” and “Bio.” Dundita's debut, Direct line to my Creatorwas released in 2018, and a new one is in the works to be announced soon.
Last year, Jamila Woods invited Dundita to join her on her album The water made us. They ended up collaborating on the standout track “Tiny Garden”. Prior to this, dundita also entered the full Wiki Half God.
