El Fantasma's “El Exitoso” cruises to No. 1 on the Regional Mexican Airplay Chart

El Fantasma's “El Exitoso” continues to be a hit Advertising signIt charts Latin airplay (dated March 16) as the track climbs 5-1 on Regional Mexican Airplay and rallies 18-2 on the overall Latin Airplay chart.

“El Exitoso” climbs 5-1 in Regional Mexican Airplay with a strong 72% increase in audience impressions to 8.3 million, winning the March 1-7 viewing week, according to Luminate.

As “El Exitoso,” released last October via Afinarte, moves to the summit, it knocks Becky G, Leonardo Aguilar and Angela Aguilar's “Por El Contrario” off the top spot. The latter falls to No. 3 with a 20% drop in impressions to 6.8 million.

With the new hit, El Fantasma records his sixth Regional Mexican Airplay No. 1, which began when “Encantadora” took over the radio chart for four weeks in 2019. Here's a recap of all the champions:

Thanks to “El Exitoso,” Afinarte leads Regional Mexican Airplay for a second term in 2024, after the label last led Los Dos Carnales' “Gracias a Ti” to a week atop the chart dated February 24. The company captures its 10th champion overall.

In addition to dominating regional Mexican radio, “El Exitoso” is also breaking new ground on the overall Latin Airplay chart, where it soars to No. 18-2. With the rise, El Fantasma collects his 10th top 10 there and achieves his best chart performance to date. The singer-songwriter previously reached No. 4 with “El Selectivo” in May 2023.
