Empire Of The Sun is preparing to usher in a new era.
After releasing their first single in eight years, “Changes” last month, the band announced that their fourth album will arrive via Capitol Records on July 26.
Entitled ask God, the album is Empire Of The Sun's second release. It's a change of direction, embracing an infectious new sound that effortlessly captivates listeners but goes back to its roots.
“It's been a journey like no other Empire Of The Sun has ever taken,” explained band member Nick Littlemore. “We always 'get here' when it comes to exploration of both self and the outside world. This work represents the greatest shift in consciousness our world has ever seen and that is reflected in the music.”

Along with the album announcement, Empire Of The Sun released the album's second single, “Music On The Radio”. The track continues the path set by “Changes”, adopting an upbeat indietronic sound that pays homage to the band's spirit.
