The Irish noise punk mafia, based in Belfast, formed in late 2019. Poisonous hip-hop inspired vocals that are as uncompromising as the guitars are relentless, layered over a rhythm section that draws on both electronics and left-field techno as on Late '70s Post-Punk Heroes. Enola wasted no time establishing herself as one of the next unique punk voices, having been included in NME and Rolling Stone's lists of acts to define 2022, plus from headlining festivals and festival stages.
After releasing their acclaimed debut EP Gransha, they certified themselves as one of the hardest working bands by selling out half of their 32-date debut UK tour before supporting Therapy? On his stadium tour.
Over the summer, NME cited them as “one of the most booked new acts for European festivals”, making them the most booked New Irish band of 2022, Enola only disappointing those who were turned away due to tents and stages being over capacity. . Absorbing crowds across Europe and dominating the UK ahead of the release of their debut album, it's no wonder Iggy Pop, Jehnny Beth and everyone who catches their now infamous ferocious energy sets have raved about them.
