Flatbush Zombies member Erick the Architect has released his highly anticipated debut solo album, I've never been here before. stream it via Apple Music or Spotify below.
The 16-track LP delves into deeply personal themes of Black resilience and bravery, with an intertwined soundtrack of hip-hop, soul, dub and psych sounds. Linden Jay, T-Minus and James Blake were producers, with Joey Bada$$, Westside Boogie, George Clinton, Channel Tres and Kimbra contributing.
Prior to the release, Erick the Architect released a series of singles, including “Ezekiel's Wheel” featuring George Clinton, the group assisted by Joey Bada$$. “Shaked,” “Ambrosia” with Channel Tres and “Parkour”, the latter produced by James Blake.
I've never been here before follows his 2021 EP, Proof of the future.
