Ethel Cain has announced that her new album Perverts will arrive on January 8th, 2025. She’s also teased the lead single, “Punish,” which is set for release on November 1st.
Perverts serves as the long-awaited follow-up to her 2022 breakout album Preacher’s Daughter, a concept album that revolved around Cain’s southern upbringing, religion, and American folklore. She announced the new project on Instagram with the artwork for “Punish,” which features a silhouette-like photo of herself and a ring above her head. “Punish, off my new project Perverts, is out November 1st,” she wrote. “Perverts will release on January 8th.”
Ethel Cain is coming off a big couple years, including performances at Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and most recently, the All Things Go festivals in New York City and Maryland. We also named Ethel Cain’s “American Teenager” as one of the 50 best songs of 2022.
