AI renderings of Perry “attending” the annual event quickly went viral on Monday night, reportedly showing the performer wearing a billowing floral dress that would have fit the “Garden of Time” dress code. So many social media users were fooled into believing she went to the Met Gala that Perry herself had to debunk the images.
