Just when you thought dinosaurs couldn't get any more intimidating, Excision and ATLiens have joined forces for a new collaboration, “Dinosaurs from Outer Space.”
The hard-hitting track comes from one of the biggest names in modern dubstep and a mysterious duo with supersonic beats from many distant galaxies. It's the first time Excision and ATLiens have teamed up despite playing the festival circuit together many times. Some attentive fans may have noticed the song last festival season when it appeared in their sets, including at Excision's flagship event, Lost Lands.
Together, the trio summons the sounds of the past and future to decimate speakers with meteoric bass and laser beam cuts. Featuring a dramatic intro much like many of Excision's anthems, “Dinosaurs From Outer Space” combines the sounds of their anthems with the precise, free-form stylings of the masked duo. The end result is a hard-hitting yet technical set from two acts who will hit the road together at Thunderdome this month, as well as on various legs of Excision's extensive “Nexus” tour.
“Dinosaurs from Outer Space” is now available on Excision Subsidia. You can stream the new collaboration.here.
