There is no one else in the K-pop world like CHUNG HA. The soloist is an exceptionally compelling example of what it means to be a global artist: although born in South Korea, CHUNG HA spent many of her formative years living in Dallas, where her creative identity was heavily influenced by the flourishing Spanish-language music . in Texas.
Now in her solo career, CHUNG HA is deeply involved with all aspects of her music, from collaborators to the specific vibe of a release. Her most recent comeback comes after a period of reflection, where she took some time to decide when and how she wanted to release music again.
The result is a double release: the appropriately titled “I'm Ready” and the fun “ENIE MEENIE”(with ATEEZ's Hongjoong) have stamped in early 2024 with CHUNG HA's completely individual signature.
“I wanted it to be elevated with a really epic performance that would get people excited,” he says. Consequence via Zoom from Seoul. “I really wanted to satisfy my fans.”
