Flavor Flav has once again proven he is a man of his word by keeping his promise to commission a custom bronze watch necklace for American gymnast Jordan Chiles after she was ordered to return a bronze medal.
The Public Enemy rapper posted the gems on his Instagram page Late Monday night (August 12) while screaming jeweler Rocks and stones“America is gonna fight the power brokers,” Flavor Flav wrote in the caption, “but in the meantime, I support you @jordanchiles. Hit me up 👍🏾.”

Although Chiles is understandably not on social media at the moment, his mother Gina told Flavor Flav on Twitter that the gesture “means the world” and promised to share it with his daughter.
Chiles competed in the individual floor exercise competition at the Paris Olympics and was awarded a bronze medal after her coach adjusted her score on appeal. However, the Romanian Gymnastics Federation filed an appeal of its own that overturned the decision after it was ruled that Chiles' coach filed his appeal four seconds too late.
As a result, the International Olympic Committee announced on August 11 that the bronze medal had been reassigned to Romanian gymnast Ana Bărbosu. USA Gymnastics has challenged the decision with video evidence from the Chilean coach appealing in a timely manner and has promised to “pursue all possible avenues and processes of appeal, including the Swiss Federal Tribunal.”
Flavor Flav had already made his mark at the Olympics by signing a five-year sponsorship deal to support the U.S. water polo teams. Now that the Paris Games are over, he has a number of upcoming shows with Public Enemy, including Riot Fest and a performance in Australia in October. Get your tickets here.
Thank you. It means a lot. She's not on social media right now, as you can imagine. I'll share it with her. 🫶🏽
