Fontaines DC have shared “Favourite”, the second single from their upcoming album. Romanceand the accompanying music video.
Debuting live at their Warsaw show in Brooklyn in May, “Favourite” is described by Fontaines DC vocalist Grian Chatten as having an “endless sound, a continuous cycle from euphoria to sadness, two worlds spinning forever.” .

In fact, the sentimental song features soaring guitars and contemplative lyrics highlighted by the repeated chorus: “You were my favorite for a long time.”
In the self-directed music video for “Favourite,” Fontaines DC intersperses footage of the band members’ childhoods with clips from a recent trip to Madrid. Watch it below.
Romance is out August 23 via XL Recordings and features the first single, “Starburster,” which topped our list of the 100 best songs of the year (so far). To promote the album, Fontaines DC has planned a North American tour beginning in September. Get tickets here.
