Not long ago, Kanye West was hit with a lawsuit accusing him of anti-Semitic behavior and weird sexual deviance, but now, College dropout artist faces more serious charges as an ex America's Next Top Model Contestant says Kanye West sexually assaulted her.
According to Rolling StoneJennifer An filed a lawsuit in New York Federal Court on Friday (November 22), suing Kanye West for sexually assaulting and strangling him during an incident that took place in 2010. In the legal filing, An says the assault happened when was working as a background actor for a video shoot for La Roux's “In for the Kill”. She says that during filming, Kanye West arrived on set and directly said, “Give me the Asian girl” before getting in her face while she was “breathing heavily” and actually instructed the camera crew to focus on her face her while he was filming. in his “own production”.
That's when things got alarmingly awkward for everyone.
Per Rolling Stone:
“On camera, defendant West began choking plaintiff with one hand. He then wrapped his other arm around her neck and continued to strangle her with both hands,” the lawsuit states. “He then rammed several fingers down her throat, moved them in and out continuously and gagged her.”
Ann says West used his fingers “to mimic forced oral sex” as he allegedly screamed: “This is art. This is fucking art. I'm like Picasso.” The lawsuit alleges that West assaulted Anne “in a manner similar to pornographic gags/deep throats/BDSM fetishes.”
As she panicked under West's “twisting hand,” Ann says she looked around the room, hoping someone would intervene. She claims no one helped her. “The plaintiff was struggling to breathe and felt as if she had temporarily blacked out. When defendant West decided he was done with plaintiff, her face was covered in saliva and smeared makeup,” the lawsuit states.
We're mildly surprised that this wasn't big news on social media, even though it was only a few years back then.
While An sued Kanye for the attack, she also names Universal Music Group as a co-defendant as they were behind Kanye's appearance in the video and failed to investigate the incident afterward or take any kind of action.
Jennifer An is suing for punitive damages.
