Good things come in twos. Fred Again.. has followed up the announcement of his forthcoming studio album Ten Days with a slate of tour dates. The musician will be taking the record on the road later this year on the Places We’ve Never Been tour.
The run will make stops at arenas throughout North America beginning Sept. 11, just days after the album is scheduled for release. Fred Again.. will kick off the tour with two back-to-back shows at Denver’s Ball Arena. The musician will perform in Salt Lake City, Seattle, Minneapolis, East Troy, Detroit, Toronto, Buffalo, and Atlanta between September and October. The tour will conclude on Oct. 13 with a final show at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth.
In an Instagram post, the musician teased more shows to come. “Whenever we go to the US I hear about (and sometimes see from the plane!!) alll these mad places that we haven’t gotten to go to and explore. So yeah I can’t waittttt to see these parts and play some shows in some magical places,” he wrote. “…..and obviously this poster isn’t evvvvvery show! It’s jus every one that we’ve confirmed.”
Presale for the tour will begin a 12 p.m. local time on Thursday, Aug. 8 with general sale scheduled for 12 p.m. local time on Friday, Aug. 9.
Ten Days is an album primed for special appearances on the road. The record features collaborations with Obongjayar, Jozzy, Jim Legxacy, Sampha, Soak, Chika, Duskus, Joy Anonymous, the Japanese House, and Scott Hardkiss. In a statement about the record, also shared to Instagram, he shared: “There’s been a lot of biggg, mad, crazy moments in the last year but basically all of these are about really very small quiet intimate moments.”
