Adam Ten is dusting off his gamer gear and returning to the default world just in time to release his new Burning Man-inspired song, “3 Days Later.”
Following the official release of his remix of RÜFÜS DU SOL’s “Lately,” the Israeli beatsmith continues to push the boundaries of melodic house and techno without losing sight of his signature style. Breathing new life into Rhye’s acclaimed 2013 track “3 Days,” his upbeat edit transports us to a dreamy desert soundscape.
According to a press release, Ten originally created the version to play at his Burning Man sets. After an overwhelming response to the song, he decided to play it for Rhye, whose team approved the sample ahead of its release this week on Diplo's Higher Ground label.
“I loved how the original song makes you feel something deep,” Ten said. “I remember the first time I heard it and it made me cry. I went into the studio with the mission of capturing that feeling and bringing it to the dance floor, to make people feel connected to themselves and their loved ones.”
True to form, Ten has just emerged from a handful of Larger than life DJ sets inside Black Rock City, where he performed at some of Burning Man's most beloved sound camps including Robot Heart, The Playground, and Mayan Warrior's Galaxyer, among others.
