Future and Metro Boomin sparked an explosive back-and-forth war over their recent collaborative album, WE DON'T TRUST YOU and it's back this weekend with more heat. With the announcement of a new mixtape to be released on the same day, Guna plans to release an album, some fans believe the Freebandz honcho has disbanded the former YSL subsidiary.
Gunna, who is currently on his “Bittersweet” tour and preparing for the release of his new album, ONE FROM WUN, is expected to drop this Friday (May 10). The Young Stoner Life X account tweeted the news of the ew album, which rapper 'pusin P' retweeted on his timeline.
Eagle-eyed fans have noticed Future tweeting about his upcoming untitled mixtape, and some believe it's an attempt to push Wunna's release date.
“F*ck yo album Sh*t ain't like my MIXTAPE, read the first in a series of tweets. He followed up with responses that read “MAY TENTH” and “MIX PLUTO” before ending his rant.
Guna, perhaps in response to these lines, wrote, “What the hell are these boys talking about,” and left the cryptic message.
We haven't been able to determine if a connection between the responses to X is inspired by the beef, but considering the current Hip-Hop climate, fans are building their theories. We have reactions from all sides below.
