Future and Metro Boomin have finally released their highly anticipated joint album We Don't Trust You on Friday (March 22).
We Don't Trust You plays from Metro's infamous producer tag “If Young Metro don't trust, I'm gon' shoot you” that Future originally said on their 2015 track “Right Now” featuring Uncle Murda. Since then, the label has been popularized on tracks like Drake and Future's “Jumpman” and “Father Stretch My Hands Pt.” of Ye (formerly known as Kanye West). 1.”
The project comes on the heels of Metro's Grammy Award Heroes & Villains album — which features Future on four tracks including “Superhero” and “Too Many Nights” — and Future's I never liked you. Both 2022 albums topped the Billboard 200. The producer-rapper duo have had several hits over the years, including 2016's “Wicked” and 2017's “Mask Off,” the latter of which reached the No. 5 on the Hot 100 and earned a nine-time platinum status in the US
And because Metro Boomin always wants a little more, he and Future are already gearing up to give fans another joint album in just three weeks on April 12.
After taking part in Rolling Loud California in Inglewood, California's Hollywood Park last weekend — where Travis Scott performed his previously teased LP track “Cinderella” — Future and Metro are back at it for Lollapalooza in Chicago, Ill. . 's Grant Park this August. Additional headliners include SZA, Tyler, The Creator, blink-182, The Killers, Hozier, Stray Kids, Melanie Martinez and Skrillex.
