G Flip has revealed that Taylor Swift offered her a “cheeky invite” Eras Tour show in Melbourne.
The Australian singer-songwriter has revealed that she recieved an invite to the pop star’s recent concert in Melbourne.
“It was so amazing, like, I’m obviously such a big fan of Taylor Swift and all her work and her as a songwriter and performer, like, she’s absolutely amazing,” G told Extra at the 35th Annual GLAAD Media Awards on Thursday.
She continued, “The show is one of the best productions I’ve ever seen in my life, and I was lucky enough that Taylor invited me to sit in the friends and family area in Melbourne.”
Extra reporter Melvin Robert quipped, “You know people,” to which the singer replied, “I don’t know (her), never met, but I was very flattered that she offered to let me see it from, like, a really good view.”
G, real name Georgia Flipo, revealed she was invited to the concert shortly after she did a cover of Taylor’s hit Cruel Summer.
“Yeah, she heard that and then she gave me a cheeky invite,” she explained. “I thought that she might have hated it. I didn’t expect her to actually see it.”
The musician added that when she found out that the Love Story hitmaker had invited her to the show and liked her cover, “It was the best day ever. I woke up and cried of happiness.”
