Foo Fighters have wrapped up their UK tour dates (get tickets) With one final show in Birmingham, and to help close out the run, Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler joined the band for a rendition of “Paranoid.”
Butler played the song's bassline with a thunderous sound and held down the low end while Dave Grohl ditched his guitar and ventured into some Ozzy Osbourne-style frontman moves. In several clips, fans from all sections of Villa Park stadium can be seen joyfully singing along. Check out the videos below.

This is the second time in recent years that Butler has performed with Foo Fighters, following his participation in the tribute concert for their late drummer, Taylor Hawkins. It is also his last public appearance since he retired in 2023.
At the time of his retirement, Butler ruled out a Black Sabbath reunion, but as of last May, he apparently changed his mind and reached an agreement with Osbourne to play one last show (though no additional details are available at this time).
As for Foo Fighters, they will return to the United States later this summer for more tour dates, including a set at Soundside Festival and headlining shows. Buy your tickets here.
