Emotions recently ran high at the Hollywood Bowl, where deadmau5 played an unreleased song in a heartfelt tribute to the late i_o.
“It's gone, but it's definitely not forgotten,” deadmau5 said at the larger-than-life show before releasing his unreleased song, “input_output.” Palpable emotions resonated across the dance floor as the song's ascending synths built into a forceful techno drop.

The Hollywood Bowl show was part of “retro5spective: 25 years of deadmau5,” which highlights his extraordinary journey as a pioneer of electronic music. deadmau5 performed “retro5pective” at the Brooklyn Mirage on May 2 and 3, continuing the celebration of his timeless impact on the scene.
